Tenant Spotlight: Dignity Health
February 2021
Our University Park campus proudly creates space for businesses in the healthcare industry, so we are feeling particularly grateful for the healthcare providers on our own campus and excited to share a bit about Dignity Health and their heroes who put their lives on the front lines day in and day out to protect our community.
Specifically, the Dignity Health Medical Group Stockton facility on campus at University Park offers many services, including family medicine, neurology, psychiatry, and internal medicine. Dignity Health is made up of more than 60,000 caregivers and staff who deliver excellent care to diverse communities. Today, Dignity Health is one of the largest health systems in the nation with 400 care sites across a 22-state network, including 39 hospitals. As so many University Park tenants are advocates, in the health industry, and first responders who remain on campus every day, it is an extension of the peaceful environment at University Park that helps us all continue to have a positive attitude. “On my daily walks with my co-worker, the University Park provides a peaceful and safe environment with calming sounds of water fountains.” – Cecilia Meza, Dignity Health Medical Assistant.
Dignity Health is committed to providing excellent, affordable health care, delivered with compassion. Since their founding in 1986, they’ve made it their goal to create environments that meet each patient’s physical, mental, and spiritual needs. We are grateful to have tenants with core values that align with those of University Park and the initiatives we focus on. Our University Park World Peace Rose Garden Mission Statement is to advance peace and understanding amongst all the nations, cultures, and religions of the world through the creation of rose gardens that become magnets for community activities. We believe that beautifully aligns with Dignity Health’s Mission Statement of “improving the health of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable, while we advance social justice for all.”
“I enjoy going on walks with the amazing views of the water, butterfly art wall, and the new dolphin sculpture along the Discovery Trail. It really makes my day go by easier to destress me from long days at work” – Liz Serna, Dignity Health Medical Assistant.
University Park is appreciative of the organizations on-site with focuses on the well-being of our communities and kindness towards all people. We recognize and thank Dignity Health for all of the incredibly important services they provide.
